In Turkey, a new ski resort will be built on Göndelic Mountain at an altitude of 2,730 meters in 2024. It is assumed that it will be able to receive 70,000 tourists per day. This was reported in the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Turkey.
The new ski center will be located 65 kilometers from Ordu. The resting place for tourists will be located 10 kilometers from the existing mountain resort of Cambasi. The ski center will occupy 4 thousand hectares of slope. This space will accommodate hotels and other tourist facilities. It will take 5 months to realize the project.
Ski slopes with a total length of 120 kilometers will be located on the slope of Göndelic Mountain. It is located between Kabaduz, the highest peak in Ordu, and the Mesudie district.
