80% of hotel rooms in Antalya region resorts have been booked for the New Year. This was announced by the president of the Federation of Hoteliers of Turkey (TΓROFED) Erkan Yaggi. According to him, the remaining hotel rooms will be booked this week.
Russians are leading among foreigners who come to celebrate the New Year in Antalya resorts.
“In the last three years, the number of guests from Russia during the New Year period has been growing. The activity of Russian tourists in the period from January 1 to January 8 in our Turkey is very noticeable. They vacation not only on the sea coast, but also go to the mountains to ski,” Erkan Yagci noted
Special entertainment programs are provided for holidaymakers on the entire Mediterranean coast of Turkey. For example, in Alanya New Year fairs and performances of artists on the stage near the municipality administration will be organized. New Year programs in Kundu, Belek and Kemer are also ready.
