In the first 2 months of 2023, Antalya was visited by a record number of tourists – 450 thousand people. This is 56% more than last year. Even in the most successful year for tourism in 2019, Antalya was visited by 24% less from January 1 to February 28. Then 344 thousand tourists rested at the Turkish resort. Such data are provided by the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Antalya region.
In February this year, Antalya was visited by 53,000 tourists, more than ever this month.
Most foreigners arrived at the resort from Russia – 132 thousand people. The second place is occupied by the citizens of Germany, their number was 79.7 thousand. The third place is taken by citizens of Great Britain – 40 thousand people rested in Antalya in the first two months of the new year.
