The first cruise ship recently arrived in Alanya. The American ship “The World” with 142 passengers on board landed in the port of Alanya. Tourists spent the whole day in the city. Someone made a plan of excursions to interesting historical places of the resort. Others went shopping. Still others just walked around spring Alanya and tried Turkish cuisine in local cafes.
In summer season the number of cruise ships entering Alanya will increase. The resort is already accepting applications from travel agencies in different countries. Mostly such tours are of interest to citizens of Europe.
Recall that cruise tourism in Turkey made a significant leap last year. Then the number of liners visiting the ports of Turkey increased by 17 times. Mostly popular were such cities as Istanbul, Bodrum and the port of Kusadasi near the city of Ephesus.
