Between January and August of this year, the number of US citizens who bought housing in Turkey increased 3.5 times compared to the same period last year.
In total, according to the Statistical Institute of Turkey, in January-August 2021, 30,849 houses were sold to foreigners from different countries.
Iraqis, Iranians and Russians bought the most housing in 8 months this year. But the highest growth was noted precisely among the citizens of the United States.
