The UAE’s economic hub has become a leader in attracting ideas and talent according to the Global Cities Report. Dubai maintained its dominance in the MENA region and entered the top 25 best cities in the world.
This year it ranked 23rd, down one place from last year. According to this indicator, it surpassed Barcelona, Istanbul, Boston, Frankfurt, Vienna, Miami and others. The ranking was based on the following criteria: human capital, information exchange, cultural experience, political and business activity.
Dubai, as the business capital of the region, has become a point of attraction for transnational corporations. They open offices in the emirate thanks to its world-class infrastructure. A favorable tax environment, qualified personnel, high level of security, and transport accessibility play an important role. Active attraction of tourists and foreign capital is also important.
