According to the decree of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, citizens from the disaster zone will receive a subsidy for rental housing. Homeless people will receive TL 3,000 per month to pay the rental cost in temporary housing. This was reported in the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Turkey.

Initially, the state planned to allocate 2 thousand TL per family as assistance. But it turned out that these funds will not be able to significantly cover the cost of rent even in small provinces of the affected region.

In the meantime, moderately and slightly damaged buildings are being restored. Reconstruction will take much less time than building new houses. Thus, people will be able to return to their apartments faster.
