Massive embankment renovation project in Alanya is almost complete. The 4.5 km coastline improvement from Konakli to Turkler will be finished by the beginning of the tourist season. Such data was reported by the Department of Parks and Gardens of the Municipality of Alanya.
Works on the embankment involve the laying of a walking path, the arrangement of bike paths, the installation of children’s and sports grounds. In addition, workers will equip a recreation area and picnic areas. Cafes, volleyball and basketball courts, areas for various events will appear on the embankment. Flowers, bushes and trees will be planted along the paths and next to the benches. Special places will be reserved for parking cars and tourist buses.
Works of embankment improvement have been going on for several years and now in the final phase. Additional infrastructure will increase the tourist and investment attractiveness of Konakli, Turkler and Payallar districts.
