Wildfires in Turkey have damaged many trees this summer. Now these territories will be gradually restored. And the work has already begun. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli told Anadolu about this.

“The time has come to reforested. 252 million seedlings will be planted, ”Pakdemirli told reporters, adding that the past forest fires in Turkey are the largest in the history of the country.

Planting of seedlings will begin in the second week of November. However, it will take 3 to 5 years to restore the affected territory. In mountainous areas, the green cover is likely to regenerate itself due to the seeds existing in the forests.
