Real estate sales in the Republic of Turkey continue to grow despite raising prices. In the first month of 2023, 97.7 thousand housing units were sold in Turkey. This is 10.6% more than in January 2022. This data is reported by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
Most real estate was sold in Istanbul – 17.4 thousand objects. This is 17.8% of the total. The second place is occupied by Ankara with 8.8 thousand sales and a 9% share. Antalya confidently holds the third place with 5.6 thousand sold units of real estate and a share of 5.7%.
Foreigners purchased 4.1 thousand residential properties in Turkey in January. The resorts of Antalya and Alanya, as well as Istanbul, were the most popular. Most real estate was bought by the Russians.
