Two improvement projects were completed in Alanya the other day. A one-lane road was opened for traffic in Kestel district. A social recreation area for children and adults was created in Başköy.
On the new 2,500-meter road in Kestel district, a part of the street connecting the East Coastal Road with the new ring road was put into operation. Auto traffic is allowed in two directions, with one lane for now. The new road facilitates access to the Alaaddin Keykubat University of Alanya and makes it easier to get to the Dim Cave.
Along with improving the roads, the Alanya Municipality has not forgotten about the leisure time of its residents. A social zone has been created in Başköy neighborhood. There residents can hold large-scale meetings with relatives: weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and others. A special playground has been erected there for children.
“The erection of the social zone has opened a great opportunity for us to communicate with each other. We will be able to use it daily and hold our events here. We express our gratitude to our mayor and his team for the attention they have shown,” said Başköy neighborhood head Kerim Karav.
Alanya Mayor Yugel said that the main task of the authorities is to make the life of citizens better.
The improvement of Alanya’s infrastructure also affects its tourist and investment attractiveness.
