Istanbul has entered the top 100 of the list of “World’s Richest Cities 2023”. The city ranked 51st in terms of the number of rich residents. Istanbul is home to 16,300 dollar millionaires. Such data was published by Henley & Partners.
The first place in the rating is occupied by New York, where there are 340 thousand residents with a fortune of more than $1 million. It is followed by Tokyo, where 290 thousand rich people live. San Francisco with 285 thousand millionaires closes the top three. London is in fourth place (258 thousand), Singapore – in fifth place (240 thousand).
According to the report on migration for 2023, 44.5 thousand people with a fortune of $1 million or more live in Turkey. Among them 18 people are dollar billionaires.
