Over the past 10 months, Turkey completed 1.4 million land sales transactions. According to realtors, this is the highest figure for the entire period of observation.
The Statistical Department of the country recorded a 2.5% increase in sales in this segment of real estate. Transactions are made with land for commercial development and agricultural land.
It is noted that from January to October 2023, 1, 43 million land plots were sold. For the same period last year, this figure amounted to 1.39 million objects.
According to experts, the demand for land is due to the fact that residents can not afford to buy housing in the city. Buyers invest in land plots with the purpose of further construction of real estate for themselves. Far-sighted investors are also investing in land plots for agricultural needs, as this is a promising area for business.
