Demand from Russians for housing in Bali is growing. In the first ten months of this year, Russian citizens bought almost 500 properties on the island. This is 64% more than for the same period in 2022.
As noted by the company Alex Villas Agency, Russians have become more likely to buy apartments for permanent residence. Previously popular were villas for rent.
Demand for real estate on the island of Bali analysts attribute to the unfavorable investment climate in the Eurasian Union. Now Russians make up to 20% of all real estate purchases in Bali.
The island is one of the most popular vacation destinations for tourists from Russia. In addition, Russians are increasingly choosing Bali for wintering or permanent residence. At the moment it is one of the most promising destinations for real estate investment.
