Turkey starts selling domestic electric vehicles

The first Turkish electric car Togg will go on sale this week. This was stated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey. Prices for new cars are also announced. The V1RWD Standard Range will cost 935.000 TL, the standard V2RWD will cost 1.055.000 TL and the long haul V3RWD will cost 1.215.000 TL.

According to representatives of the Ministry of Industry, the new electric car can stimulate the emergence of many technology start-ups. The machine itself must be in high demand. Firstly, the cars are sold at an affordable price, and secondly, buyers will be attracted by the fact that this is a domestic brand. In addition, the ideas of environmentally friendly cars are now being actively promoted in Turkey.

There are charging stations for electric vehicles on the highways between Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Istanbul and Izmir, as well as on the highways between Istanbul and Ankara.
