Rescue dogs from canine teams after the end of the mission in Turkey went home in business class. Turkish Airlines made such a gift to four-legged volunteers in gratitude for their work. This was reported by the Russian media, which met the rescuers at the airport.

After the earthquake, teams of cynologists from more than forty countries were sent to help Turkey. Specially trained dogs are indispensable for searching the survivors under the rubble. Their keen sense of smell and sensitive hearing help to detect people much more effectively than various technical devices.

For more than two weeks, the dogs participated in rescuing people from the rubble. Many of them themselves were injured, but continued to search. As a result, more than 100 thousand people were removed from the rubble. This number would be much less if the four-legged rescuers did not participate in the operation.

A powerful earthquake occurred in the South-East of Turkey on February 6. Russia was among the first to send rescue teams, including dog handlers, to help the Turkish side.
