Turkish exports to neighboring countries amounted to $ 12.5 billion in 8 months

The Central Bank of Turkey has reported on the dynamics of prices. In the period from January to August this year, Turkey’s exports to neighboring countries – Bulgaria, Iran, Iraq, Georgia, Syria and Greece – increased by 34.5% compared to the same period last year and reached $ 12.5 billion.

In August, Turkish exports increased by 52% over the same period last year. This is the highest export figure for August in the history of the country.

The largest number of Turkish products were sold in the chemicals sector.
