The passport of a UAE citizen has strengthened in the ranking of the most influential passports in the world – it took the 11th place. This list is compiled annually by Henley & Partner. Now UAE citizens can travel without visas to 183 countries.
In ten years, the Arab Emirates managed to rise from 55th to 11th place, adding 106 visa-free destinations.
The UAE passport maintains its leading position in the Middle East, ranking first among Arab countries. Rounding out the region’s top three are Qatar with 108 visa-free destinations and Kuwait with 102.
The first place in Henley & Partner’s 2024 Passport Index list was taken by 6 countries at once: Japan, Singapore, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Citizens of these countries can visit 194 out of 227 possible destinations without visas.
