The municipality of Alanya has started demolishing risky and illegal buildings. In all districts, the Construction Control Department of the Municipality of Alanya conducts an examination of buildings. Those buildings that were erected illegally – those that do not have a Handel Iskan (technical passport of the building) are the subject to demolition. Houses built without taking into account seismic standards are also being liquidated. Thus, all buildings available in Alanya will be safe.
At the moment, workers have begun demolition of a building in the Mahmutlar district. During the investigation, the commission found out that the building was damaged during construction of the neighbor building, and now it is not safe.
Work will continue in all districts of the city. New houses will be built on the vacant places that meet the latest safety standards. Despite the fact that earthquakes do not occur in the region, the municipality of the city strictly follows the rules of construction.
